Great War pilot P Q Reiss, Ivelaw Chapman, MRAF Slessor, Neville Duke signed R J Mitchell Spitfire cover HA1. Peter Quentin Reiss was a British pilot who served in the Royal Flying Corps (RFC) during World War I. He was an insurance broker and underwriter before the war and joined the RFC in 1917. Reiss remained active in aviation after the war, even giving flying lessons in 1931 and flying to Brussels in 1936 to bring Amy Johnson home after her first attempt to fly to Cape Town.
