US WW2 Bob Scott fighter ace signed RAF FDC. 2 5 92 Port Vila First Day of Issue Postmark on sheet 200 Vanuatu (The New Hebrides during World War 11 ) Aircraft Stamps. Personally Signed by E Nisbert Artist and Brigadier general Robert L Scott JR in the United States Air Force and a flying ace of World War II, Scott flew 388 combat missions in 925 hours from July 1942 to October 1943, credited with shooting down 13 Japanese aircraft. Scott is best known for his memoir, God is My Co-Pilot (1943), about his exploits in World War II with the Flying Tigers and the United States Army Air Forces in China and Burma.
