This cover has retraced the steps taken by members of the Royal Air Force who escaped from Prisoner of War Camps in Northern Germany and made their way to Sweden. It arrived at Gotebury by Sea and then taken by rail to Stockholm. From there it was flown by Seven Seas carrier to England to be collected by No 72 Sqn and flown from Odiham to Battersea Heliport next to the Headquarters of the RAF Escaping Society in Wessex.
