WW2 Liberation of Brussels FDC signed Belgian Resistance Georges D'Outremont. RAF Escaping Society Liberation of Brussels cover signed by resistance veteran Le Comte Georges D'Outremont. He was a member of the Comete Line founded by Andree de Jongh (Dede) and acted as guide to escapers and evaders, escaping himself to the UK when he became suspected by the Gestapo. He rejoined the Belgian Army where he undertook parachute training and was dropped into France again to assist in the returning of Allied evaders by Lysander. Once again he was tracked by the Gestapo and returned to the UK, returning to France again as part of the Allied Landings on D-Day. In August 1944 he joined the Belgian SAS and was parachuted into the Ardennes and took part in a number of attacks on the retreating German Army. Photo and info inside
