Postcard of Capel le Ferne Folkestone Signed R H Symth Battle of Britain Pilot. Coloured Postcard Size 5¾ by 4 inches The Battle of Britain Memorial at Capel le Ferne Folkestone. Personally Signed by R H Smyth DFC 111 and 249 Sqns Battle of Britain Fighter Pilot. He joined 111 Squadron at Debden on 21 Aug 1940. On 19 Sept was posted to 249 Sqn at North Weald on 2nd Oct and moved to 165 Sqn at Northolt on 19th Nov. He was released as a Flt Lt on Jan 1946.
