RAF Signed Ambassador Roger Malengreau Belgian Battle of Britain Pilot 87, 56 Sqn's. RAFSP6 13 1 75 Beauvechechain No 349 ( Belgian ) Squadron RAF Commemorating the Belgian Squadrons with the RAF. Personally Signed by Ambassador Roger Malengreau Commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant in the Belgian Air Force in 1936. He served during the 1940 campaign and after the collapse, escaped to join the RAF. He qualified immediately as a fighter pilot and fought in the Battle of Britain with 87 Sqn. And then with No 56 Sqn and in 1941 to 42 he flew with 609 ( West Riding ) Sqn. also Signed by F104G Pilot Maj D'Hert Full details enclosed. Died in 1994.
