Loss HMS Hecla Signed S G Clark on Board from Commissioning 1940 to Sinking. 12 Nov 1990 Plymouth To Commemorate the Anniversary of the Loss of Tyne Class Destroyer Depot Ship HMS Hecla. Arrived after the North African Landing Operation Touch, on 11th November 1942 in a torpedo attack by German U 515 off Cape St Vincent was hit and sunk the following day with great loss of Life. Personally Signed by Cdr S G Clark MBE RN Survivor as Lt Education Officer HMS Hecla from Commissioning in 1940 to the sinking on 12th November 1942. Sunk by a torpedo attack on 11 November 1942 by German U - 515 off Cape St Vincent. Was hit and sank the following day with great loss of life. Certified Copy No 41 of 200Covers issued.
