Great War HMS Lion Admiral F Clemitson signed 60th ann Surrender of German Fleet official Navy cover. Midshipman HMS Lion at surrender 1918. Admiral F. Clemitson was a Rear Admiral Francis Edward Clemitson in the Royal Navy, born in 1899 and retired in 1953. He served as a midshipman on HMS Lion during the surrender of the German Fleet in World War I and became a Rear Admiral, a rank equivalent to Major General. His son, Commander F. N. Clemitson, also served in the Royal Navy and married in 1933. Single Vendor signed RAF cover collection. Good condition. All autographs come with a Certificate of Authenticity.
