W.E. ”Bill” Lucas, DFC, MID, was a Royal Air Force (RAF) officer who served with 9 Squadron during World War II. He later transferred to 15 and 162 Squadrons, flying both Wellingtons and Mosquitoes. He completed 81 operational missions and was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross (DFC) and a Mention in Despatches (MID). Single Vendor collection. Good condition.
