WW2 RAF Flt Lt R Pengilley DFC 582 Sqn signed Lancaster bomber bookplate. 7 x 5 inch limited Special edition printed card with border, perfect for matting or use as bookplate. Flight Lieutenant Roy Pengilley, awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross (DFC), served with No. 582 Squadron RAF during World War II as a Pathfinder pilot. He flew Lancasters on 59 operations, including daylight missions where he was wounded. He completed his tour in March 1945. 582 Squadron was a Pathfinder squadron based at RAF Little Staughton, specializing in target marking and precision bombing. Single Vendor collection.
