WW2 Rare Ernst Zindel Junkers design, US ace Arthur Jeffrey signed Rossbach RAF cover commemorating the arrival of the JU 50 2 3M at the Royal Air Force Museum. Numbered 6 of 11 on back with Zindel biography printed in German. Ernst Zindel (23 January 1897 in Mistelbach, Upper Franconia ; † 10 October 1978 in Bad Homburg vor der Höhe ) was a German engineer and designer of the Ju 52 (”Aunt Ju”) in single and three engine versions. During World War II, Arthur Jeffrey became a U.S. Army Air Forces DOUBLE ACE, credited with shooting down 14 enemy aircraft in aerial combat. After the war he transferred to the new U.S. Air Force, and retired in 1968 as a Colonel. Good condition. Part of Single Vendor collection.
