Peat Spade & 2qty Malting Shovels - The malting Shovels would have been used on the Malt Floor of a Speyside Distillery, turning over the malt and giving the operatives the Monkey Shoulder that has now become famous as a Whisky Brand. Essentially one shoulder becomes more powerful than the other.  Note the shovel handle is shaped and the workman has marked his initials into the item.  An unusual find as normally thrown out by tthe distilleries who see no value in them.
