Stunning Bangle made of Steatite with Floral Pattern (770-256BC) - Interesting bangle with etched motifs, China, probably Western Zhou Dynasty (770-256 BC), unknown stone, probably heated Steatite. The slightly curved and unusually large bangle wearing a rubber stamp with name sign of the Zhou period. it is assumed that this refers to the support of the hoop and not the manufacturer. The stamp is embedded in the circumferential, closed floral pattern. Excellent state of preservation. Provenance: Private Collection Old French, ex collection G. Marris.
