Bidspirit auction | Two Zhulong Jade Pig Dragons

Two Zhulong Jade Pig Dragons from HongShan culture (4700-2900BC) - Lot of two reciprocal Zhulong ”pig dragon”, China, probably HongShan culture (4700-2900 BC). Provenance: Private old French collection, ex collection G. Marris. Apple green-yellow jade with buildup of locality patina and strong sintering. Worm-like in a circle curved body with excessive head and big eyes, no visible limbs. Plastic sublime, indicated horns on the upper head part. The approximately C-shaped composition reminiscent of the morphologically similar C-kite. The screwed body is separated between snout and tail. In the back part is a hole on either side for attaching a cord. L = 30.0 W = 25.0 H = 11.0 mm.
