Iconic G Plan ”Astro” coffee table - A staple of British mid-century modern design. Designed by Victor Bramwell (V.B.) Wilkins in the 1960s, this piece was manufactured by G Plan (E. Gomme Ltd) in High Wycombe, England. It features a circular frame made from solid teak wood with distinctive, ergonomic ”swooping” curved legs and an inset clear glass top. Interestingly, while it is widely known as the ”Astro” today, G Plan originally used that name for a different model now known as the ”Spider” table. Diameter * Height = 84 x 45cm
