1911 Pierre Hel World Championship Winning Fiddle (Violin 174) - A violin made by Pierre Hel (1884 – 1937) son of Violin maker Joseph Hel of Lille. His work became internationally renown when Georges Enesco played a violin by him during his US tour in 1924. His violins were also played by other celebrated violinists like Eugène Ysaÿe or Jacques Thibaud. Would be enough. But this Violin was used by Sarah Naylor to win the Glenfiddich sponsored World Fiddle Championship - a rare feat and a piece born in France and came of age in the Highlands of Scotland.
