Traditionally carved by inhabitants of Pitcairn Island , often descendants of the HMS Bounty mutineers. Carved from local Miro wood. Each fish is mounted on a turned stand, and the fins often bear stamped inscriptions such as ”SOUVENIR FROM PITCAIRN” and the maker's name.
