Collection of Wedgwood olive green Jasperware - Jasperware is a type of matte, unglazed stoneware developed by Josiah Wedgwood in 1774, known for its neoclassical style, cameo-like white relief decorations, and colored bodies (most famously ”Wedgwood Blue”). It was perfected after years of experiments, featuring materials like barium sulphate, and remains a hallmark of Wedgwood pottery, often showcasing classical scenes.  While pale blue was the hallmark color, Wedgwood introduced other colors to suit neoclassical interior design trends. Vases and decorative pieces were made in colours that matched decorative themes.
