Antique Sampson Hancock ”Blossoms” Flow Blue & Gold Plate - Made by Sampson Hancock in England, dating back to approximately 1870. The ”Blossoms” pattern consists of a very dark blue floral design accented with gold trim. It is a classic example of flow blue, a style of white earthenware or porcelain where the blue glaze was designed to blur or ”flow” during the firing process.
