Hogan started the tradition for the Champions Dinner at Augusta for the Masters in 1952. This book has over 40 autographs from golfing greats from two British Opens in Scotland. . Autographs from the 1953 British Open at Carnoustie include the winner 'Hawk', Ben Hogan. He only entered the British Open once, and won it - completing his Grand Slam. Him signing as 'Hawk' is very rare. . Autographs from the 1972 British Open at Muirfield include the winner Lee Trevino (who won back to back British Opens and stopped Jack Nicklaus from winning his Grand Slam) and the Big 3 - Palmer, Nicklaus & Player. .
