Sinclair ZX Spectrum+, released in 1984 - In 1984, Apple launched the original Macintosh - the first successful mass-market personal computer featuring a graphical user interface (GUI) and a mouse. Britain launched the Sinclair ZX Spectrum+, a vintage 8-bit home computer released in 1984 as a redesign of the original ZX Spectrum.  In the lead up to the Auction, a grown man picked this up and hugged it! It features a QL-style enclosure with a hard plastic keyboard instead of rubber keys, along with a reset button. Context: It was a pivotal machine in the British home computing industry, often valued as a collectible item today.
