A Trio of Scottish Interest and Rover Scout Enamel Badges - A trio of early 20th-century badges comprising two Scottish commemorative pieces and a youth organization insignia. The first is a souvenir heraldic badge for the Royal Burgh of Inverness, featuring an enameled white-metal crest with a red cross, blue shield, and supporters of an elephant and a camel. This crest is mounted on a circular mother-of-pearl base and secured with a pin and C-clasp to the reverse. The second is an openwork gilt-metal and enamel badge produced for the 1919 Elgin Peace Celebrations following World War I. It depicts the patron saint of Elgin, St. Giles, within a shield flanked by angels, with the Latin motto SIC ITUR AD ASTRA and the date 1919. The third is a Boy Scouts Association Rover Scouts badge, featuring a white-metal fleur-de-lis with green enameled initials R and S. This badge is mounted on a circular textured brown leather disc using prong fasteners.
