19th Century Thistle Glass - Thistle or cordial glass - likely to be Regency and almost 200 years old. The vessel is designed with a flared funnel bowl featuring a band of fine cross-hatched engraving below the rim. The intricate stem features multiple horizontal collars flanking a central bulbous knop decorated with molded diagonal gadrooning. The glass sits on a wide, circular base with a slight dome and a polished pontil mark. Small seeds are visible within the metal, consistent with hand-blown manufacture of the period. Height: Approximately 125 mm.
