Silver Heraldic and Filigree Brooches - A pair of silver-toned brooches including one armorial design and one filigree design. The first brooch is a large circular piece featuring a central repousse armorial medallion depicting a crowned shield flanked by two rampant lion supporters. The shield is charged with seven small motifs. This central element is surrounded by concentric decorative bands including sixteen raised circular rosettes and an outer pierced gallery. The reverse features a long pin with a tube-style hinge and a simple C-clasp. Small stamped marks are visible on the reverse rim but are not clearly legible. The second brooch is a circular sunburst or floral design constructed of fine silver-toned filigree. The piece features sixteen radiating petals, each filled with delicate coiled wirework, meeting at a central raised dome. The reverse is fitted with a pin utilizing a coiled wire hinge and a C-clasp. The lot is accompanied by a rectangular green presentation box with gold-tooled decorative borders on the lid. Weight: under 50g.
