Victorian Gold and Carnelian Fob Seal Pendant - An antique gold fob seal pendant dating to the 19th century. The piece features an intricate openwork handle decorated with scrolled and foliate motifs in the Rococo Revival style. The handle is topped with a simple jump ring for suspension. The handle connects to a tiered, rectangular pedestal base that houses the gemstone. The base features an inset octagonal-cut dark reddish-brown carnelian stone with beveled corners. The matrix of the stone is unengraved and blank. There is a small oval mark present on the central vertical stem of the handle that is not clearly legible. 9Ct Gold Weight 7.2g
