Egyptian Faience Mummiform Shabti with Thutmose III Cartouche - An Egyptian mummiform funerary figurine, or shabti, modeled in faience. The figure is shown in the traditional pose with arms crossed over the chest and wearing a tripartite wig. A vertical column of incised hieroglyphic text is located on the front of the figure. The inscription begins with a cartouche containing the throne name of Pharaoh Thutmose III, Menkheperre. The surface is heavily encrusted with a light-colored mineralized patina, which is typical for archaeological faience. Height: approximately 6.75 inches.
