Chinese Relief-Decorated Bronze Dragon Vase and Carved Wood Stand - A relief-decorated metal vase and a matching wooden stand. The vase is of baluster form, constructed from a copper alloy with a dark brown patinated finish. The central body features a decorative band in high relief depicting a dragon traversing stylized clouds. The vase is designed with a wide flared rim and a splayed foot. A central circular hole is present in the base, indicating a previous conversion for use as a lamp base. The accompanying dark-stained hardwood stand features five cabriole legs terminating in scroll feet, joined by an openwork apron carved with foliate and ruyi motifs. Height: 18 - 20 cm.
