Sutton Palmer, River Landscape, Frost and Reed Color Print, 1920 - A photomechanical color print on paper after an original landscape painting by Harold Sutton Palmer (British, 1854-1933). The composition depicts a naturalistic view of a wide river valley winding through rolling hills, observed from a high rocky ledge punctuated by tall Scots pines. The work is signed in the plate at the lower left Sutton Palmer. A printed publication line along the top margin reads: Published at 8 Clare Street, Bristol by Frost and Reed Ltd.
