Jacobean Revival Carved Oak Triangular Drop Leaf Side Table - This Jacobean Revival side table is constructed of solid oak with a dark stained finish. The table features a versatile three-leaf drop-leaf design; when the semi-circular leaves are raised, the table presents a circular top, and when lowered, the central fixed portion is triangular. The entire top surface is decorated with relief-carved panels of foliate scrollwork and stylized mythical motifs set against a stippled, darkened ground to enhance the depth of the carving. The center of the table features a circular border enclosing a raised, fluted patera motif. The piece is supported by a three-legged frame with individual support arms that swing out to hold the drop leaves in place. Diameter approximately 22 to 24 inches (extended).
