Two 19th and 20th Century Sterling Silver and Glass Vessels - Two antique English sterling silver and cut glass table and vanity items. The sugar caster is composed of a cylindrical glass body with vertical faceted fluting and a perforated pull-off silver lid topped with a ball finial. The scent bottle features a globular glass body with deep hobnail and starburst cutting and a hinged silver cap decorated with high-relief foliate scrolls. The caster collar bears four stamped marks: a shaped shield containing the characters EWH, a lion passant, a crown for Sheffield, and a lowercase o for 1906. The scent bottle collar shows the characters L & S, an anchor for Birmingham, a lowercase z for 1899, and a lion passant. No other maker marks or signatures are visible.
