A British Brass Maritime Bulkhead Clock - A maritime bulkhead wall clock featuring a heavy brass case from a boat that used to sail the River Niger. The clock is housed in a polished brass drum-shaped case with a wide rear flange for wall mounting and a hinged, glazed front bezel. It is equipped with a single-train mechanical movement that is wound via an arbor on the dial. The white-painted dial is detailed with black Roman numeral hour markers and a rail-track minute ring with triangular five-minute indicators. It features black spade-shaped hands and a single winding hole at the 2 o'clock position. No maker's mark is visible on the dial, although the accompanying brass winding key is stamped 'MADE IN BRITAIN'. Diameter: approximately 6 to 7 inches.
