A Contemporary Lotte Glob Stoneware Floral Sculpture - A contemporary hand-built stoneware sculptural vase of organic floral form. The vessel is fashioned with a tall, slender, and undulating stem that flares at the base and opens into a wide, ruffled rim resembling a lily or trumpet flower. The interior of the bowl displays a series of radiating ridges leading to a recessed center. The sculpture, by ceramicist Lotte Glob, is finished with a textured cream-white interior glaze and a central pool of deep cobalt blue. A glossy turquoise glaze coats the underside of the rim and flows in irregular drips down the upper stem, while the lower sections feature mottled buff and umber tones. The unglazed foot reveals a reddish-brown clay body, and no maker marks or signatures are visible on the piece. Height: Approximately 9 to 11 inches.
