A Mid-20th Century Keeler Optical Products Ltd Oak Trial Lens Set - A mid-20th-century ophthalmic trial lens set housed in a fitted oak case by Keeler Optical Products Ltd. The case is constructed from solid oak with a honey-toned finish and features a raised, recessed panel lid. It is secured by two nickel-plated spring-loaded latches and a central mortise lock. The interior lid is padded and lined with blue moiré silk fabric, while the base is partitioned with wooden dividers to organize the glass lens collection. A metal plaque affixed to an interior divider is printed with KEELER OPTICAL PRODUCTS LTD, 39, WIGMORE STREET, LONDON ENGLAND. The set includes an assortment of spherical and cylindrical lenses in metal frames, as well as prisms and accessories, all organized with white celluloid labels. No other maker marks are visible.
