Late 19th Century Mahogany Triple-Train Bracket Table Clock - An antique triple-train bracket clock housed in a mahogany case. The arched case features four turned pineapple finials and fluted corner columns above a base with carved rosette and floral scroll motifs. The piece rests on four turned bun feet and includes arched brass fretwork panels lined with red fabric on the sides. The gilt-brass dial includes an ornate floral-spandrel design with a silvered main chapter ring and two silvered subsidiary dials for chime selection. The mechanical triple-train movement is designed for time, striking, and chiming on eight bells or Cambridge chimes.
