A Contemporary Metal Industrial Sculpture - A contemporary industrial assemblage sculpture crafted from repurposed found metal components. The work depicts a stylized bird in flight before a large-petaled flower head. It is constructed from various steel parts including a bicycle cog at the flower center, shaped metal plates for wings and petals, and a curved steel rod stem. The entire piece is welded to a horseshoe base. The sculpture features a dark, lustrous patina with visible weld beads and areas of natural surface oxidation on the base. No maker marks, signatures, or foundry stamps are present on the visible metal surfaces. A loose red and silver foil wrapper for a Tunnock's Milk Chocolate Teacake is also present.
