A Pair of 19th Century Brass Barley Twist Candlesticks - A pair of 19th-century candlesticks crafted from brass. Each candlestick features an open barley twist stem rising from a tiered circular base to a cylindrical candle socket. The stems are cast in a spiral form, while the bases are formed through metal spinning, which leaves concentric rings on the interior surfaces. The components are joined by a central threaded metal rod and nut assembly visible at the base. No maker names, signatures, or stamps are present on the exterior or undersides of either piece. The metal displays a naturally aged patina with surface oxidation throughout. Height: Approximately 12 to 14 inches.
