A Pair of Mid-Century Ercol Elm and Beech Armchairs - A pair of mid-century Ercol hoop-back armchairs crafted from solid elm and beech. The chairs feature a design influenced by traditional Windsor furniture with a steam-bent hoop back containing nine vertical spindles. Each chair is constructed with curved bentwood armrests and a solid, contoured seat displaying a prominent, wide wood grain. Four tapered legs are set in a splayed configuration using spindle-and-socket joinery with visible wedge joints on the seat surface.  Each chair has the Ercol label on the bottom of the base - as expected.
