A 19th Century Hand-Painted Wooden Miniature Milking Stool - A 19th-century miniature three-legged stool crafted from painted wood. The stool features a circular, slightly dished seat carved from a single block of wood. It stands on three lathe-turned, splayed legs with ring-turned accents, which are mortised directly into the underside of the seat. The seat is finished with a dark black ground decorated with a hand-painted botanical motif of red berries and green leaves. The legs are painted black with gold highlights on the ringed details.
