A Mid 20th Century Leather Horse - A mid 20th century decorative horse figure finished in hand-applied dark brown leather. The figure is modeled with defined musculature over a wood or composite core and features inset glass eyes. It is fitted with a separate, removable stitched leather saddle secured with a girth strap and two brass metal studs. The bridle and reins are constructed from thin strips of leather. No maker marks, labels, or country-of-origin stamps are visible on the exterior surfaces of the piece.
