An 18th Century Sterling Silver Helmet Shaped Cream Jug - An 18th-century sterling silver cream jug crafted in a neoclassical helmet form. The vessel features a flared spout and a slender, tapering body joined to a circular stem. It stands upon a square pedestal base and is finished with a high-arching loop handle. Beaded borders accent the rim and the base. Four struck marks appear on the upper body near the rim, consisting of four impressed letters in a shaped shield reading G B above R H, a lion passant, a crowned leopard's head, and a lowercase letter u in a shield. A Tunnock's tea cake is present in the photographs for scale. Height: approximately 4.5 inches Weight: 139.6 grams.
