1995 Alan Pett Hand Painted Ceramic Fish Plate - A hand-painted ceramic display plate featuring a stylized fish motif by artist Alan Pett. The circular plate is constructed from heavy glazed stoneware with a slightly raised rim and a double concentric footed base. The central well is decorated with an underglaze fish in turquoise, green, and salmon tones, detailed with dots and cross-hatching. The fish is flanked by two sprigs of green seaweed, and the rim is finished with a blue latticework border. The reverse bears a hand-painted signature in blue underglaze reading Alan Pett. above the date 1995. Diameter: Approximately 9.5 inches.
