Two Early 20th Century Sterling Silver and Cut Glass Items - An early 20th-century sterling silver bonbon basket and a cut glass scent bottle with a sterling silver cap. The oval sweetmeat basket is crafted with a scalloped rim and a body featuring a pierced diamond lattice pattern. The scent bottle is formed with a globular cut glass base displaying geometric diamond and fan cuts, finished with a hinged silver cap and collar. The basket bears four punches on the side: an Old English lowercase 'o' for 1913, a lion passant, a Birmingham anchor, and the maker's initials 'W H & S' for William Hutton & Sons Ltd. The scent bottle cap features an intricate floral repousse design with a gilt interior, and the silver collar is stamped with a Birmingham anchor and lion passant, though the additional marks are not clearly legible.
