20th Century Neoclassical Style Cast Brass Candlestick - A Neoclassical style candlestick cast from brass with a decorative verdigris finish. The piece features a fluted columnar shaft rising from a foliate acanthus leaf base and surmounted by a tulip-form sconce with a scalloped bobeche. The assembly is composed of multiple cast components threaded onto a central internal rod, which terminates in a deep socket for a standard candle. The tripartite base consists of three winged lion figures with paw feet resting upon a triangular plinth decorated with scrolling foliate motifs. No maker marks, signatures, or stamps are visible on the object. Height 14.5”
