Late 19th Century Art Nouveau Stained and Leaded Glass Window - A late 19th-century Art Nouveau stained and leaded glass window set within a wooden sash frame. Approx measurements 69cm wide * 72cm tall The window is constructed with leaded panes of varying colors and textures. The background utilizes heavily textured cathedral glass for privacy, while the border consists of rectangular panes of ruby red and amber yellow hammered glass. The central decoration features a hand-painted oval medallion depicting a finch perched on flowering blossoms, surrounded by stylized scrollwork in blue and green. The piece is associated with Maitland architects in Tain. No signatures, maker marks, or stamps are visible on the glass or the white-painted frame.
