A Pair of 19th Century Art Nouveau Stained Glass Window Panels - A pair of Art Nouveau stained and leaded glass window panels presented in their original wooden frames. Measures 95cm wide & 70cm tall The rectangular panels feature central hand-painted kiln-fired glass medallions. The leadwork is executed in a stylized whiplash design, incorporating textured clear glass, amber borders, and ruby red accents. The dark-stained wooden frames retain their original brass mounting hardware, including side hinges and a top-mounted latch. One central oval depicts a European Robin among pink roses, while the other features a goldfinch perched on a flowering branch. These architectural elements originate from a project by Maitland architects in Tain. No maker marks, labels, or signatures are visible on either the glass or the timber frames.
