A 20th Century Mahogany Sheraton Revival Display Cabinet - A 20th-century mahogany display cabinet executed in the Sheraton Revival taste. The cabinet features a bowfront central section with two glazed doors flanked by fixed curved glass side panels. The piece is surmounted by a stepped gallery with a central inlaid medallion and carved scrollwork ear pieces. It is supported by six square tapered legs terminating in spade feet. The frame is constructed from mahogany with contrasting satinwood crossbanding and a frieze decorated with a painted or inlaid design of bellflower swags and ribbon ties. The interior contains two shaped wooden shelves lined in a sage green velvet-like fabric. The doors are fitted with ornate cast brass pulls and a central lock. No maker marks, labels, or signatures are visible. Measures 50” wide
