A 19th Century Mahogany Vanity Mirror - An antique mahogany toilet mirror featuring a three-drawer bow-front base. The piece is constructed from mahogany with a dark finish, comprising a rectangular pivoting mirror frame set between two upright supports capped with turned finials. The bow-front base contains a wide central drawer flanked by two smaller square side drawers, all standing on bracket feet. The side drawers are fitted with brass ring-pull handles, while the central drawer features a brass batwing-style escutcheon. A handwritten two-page note from an individual named James to Claire, detailing personal promises and social history, was found within one of the drawers.
