Agfa Metal Rio 82 Folding Camera - German WWII camp - A mid-20th century Agfa Rio 82 folding bellows camera accompanied by wartime ephemera detailing where it was found in 1941 by a British soldier in 1941, The camera is constructed from a metal frame covered in textured black leatherette and features a folding bed design with black bellows. It is equipped with a C. Friedrich, Muenchen Corygon-Anastigmat f:6.3 10.5 cm lens and a Vario shutter system. A stylized logo containing the letters Ag in a circle is printed on the shutter plate, and the name Rio 82 is inscribed on the lower lens standard. This lot includes a vintage photograph of soldiers and two handwritten notes attributing the find to a 1941 German Army camp in North Africa at Sidi Rezegh.
