A Late 19th Century Mahogany Sectional Glazed Bookcase - A late 19th-century sectional glazed bookcase crafted from mahogany and pine. The piece is a low, counter-height unit of modular construction, comprising two matching two-door sections positioned side-by-side. Each section features twin doors with large arched glass panes set within mahogany frames. The interiors are finished in a light-toned secondary wood, likely pine, and contain three wooden shelves providing four storage levels. The cabinet is finished with a simple molded cornice and a matching plinth base. The exterior displays a dark reddish-brown mahogany finish. There are no visible maker marks, labels, or signatures on the interior or exterior surfaces of the piece. The interior backboards and shelves show visible natural grain and knots throughout.
