Each bookend is cast in a stylized feline form, characterized by a seated posture and sleek, elongated lines. The figures are mounted on stepped, L-shaped bases, with each cat head turned to the side in a minimalist aesthetic. The surface is finished in gold gilding, which shows greenish oxidation in the recessed crevices.
